Curriculum Glossary of terms:
Substantive knowledge – the foundational knowledge and concepts that are essential to understanding a subject
•Disciplinary Knowledge – the unique method, approaches and ways of thinking within a subject
•Sequencing – the intentional ordering of learning experiences to promote understanding and retention of knowledge
